My film making experiences turned out positive when making "The Red Riding Deafhood". The purpose and goals making this movie are explained in this vlog. It is a fictional film that involves eight Deaf children but in reality, there are such individuals and agencies promoting the absence of ASL in some Deaf children's lives. There are metaphors and hidden messages that can be compared and contrasted between two perspectives believing that ASL will help English development or that ASL will harm English development.

I have formed a new company called Born Free ASL Productions that I hope to continue to write children's stories relating to language and literacy development using a bilingual approach.

You can view the teaser trailer at www.BornFreeASL.com. Enjoy!
